Yangzhou Maxi-CUBE Tong Composite Co., Ltd (MTC) is a foreign-owned enterprise in Yangzhou, China, with 80% ownership held by MaxiTRANS Industries Limited, an Australian company. Established in 1996 and commencing production in 1997, MTC has developed into a specialized manufacturer of FRP composites. The company has achieved High-tech Enterprise status in Jiangsu province and is recognized as a Foreign-invested Advanced Technology Enterprise.
MTC relocated its operations in 2013 to a larger facility within Yangzhou, covering a total area of 53,292 square meters, with a building area of 18,000 square meters. The new plant supports an initial production capacity of 600,000 square meters of composite panels per year and employs around 130 staff. The manufacturing process integrates advanced equipment and technology sourced from the United States, Australia, and Sweden, enabling the production of refrigerated and insulated FRP composite panels as well as dry freight FRP composite panels.
The company utilizes FRP sheets as surface material and combines them with core materials such as rigid polyurethane foam, XPS foam, waterproof phenolic plywood, and plastic honeycomb. The resulting panels are lightweight, strong, corrosion and aging resistant, easy to repair, and offer thermal insulation and a glossy appearance with long service life. MTC also has capability to produce panels using full-size aluminum and stainless steel surfaces and can customize colorful panels to meet customer requirements. The technology emphasizes modular section applications that provide high structural strength, good sealing performance, and straightforward installation, leveraging international patent technologies.
As a manufacturer focused on FRP composite panels, MTC serves industries requiring durable, lightweight, and insulated panel solutions, with ongoing development aimed at expanding surface options and customization capabilities to meet market demands.
