The company operates across a sizable facility that encompasses 21,350 square meters of factory space and six workshop buildings, complemented by a total building area of around 12,000 square meters. With a workforce of more than 250 employees, the company emphasizes a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern manufacturing technology to deliver high-quality wooden products.

The production setup includes a comprehensive supply chain for timber, sourcing oak, ash, birch, catalpa, and maple from northern Chinese woodlands. Timber is processed on-site, with second-drying steps carried out at the factory to ensure material quality and cost stability. The manufacturing system is equipped to support export-oriented demand, featuring facilities such as a boiler, a 300 cubic meter drying room, and a 1,300 square meter material warehouse. In addition, the facility houses an array of modern equipment, including Italian CNC machines, planning machines, and multiple polishing, drilling, and coating systems. A dedicated painting line with 540 meters of painting capacity, 277 coating benches, nine coating tables, and a dedicated polyurethane (PU) painting room enables NC and PU coatings.

Shanghai Hemu Furniture has demonstrated design and production excellence through recognition in national design competitions, having won Bronze and Gold Medals at the China Furniture Design Competition in 2004 and 2005.
